yeah, errr.... that might've been my fault. it's been smelling like natural gas there for months, and i finally got sick of calling 311 and called the gas company directly
Heads Up on Fifth Avenue
Probably a day late and dollar short, but...
As some of you might now, a private contractor has been doing some work along Fifth Avenue between the new ramp to the Blvd of the Allies and the Birmingham Bridge. For the last week or so, they have been blocking the right hand lane just beyond the right hand curve past Robinson Street, but the closure has been COMPLETELY UNSIGNED. This creates some traffic problems, since drivers like hitting that curve as fast as possible. Be aware as you go around the bend--the lane may be closed.
"Blame Erok."
Such a gratifying response to so many difficult situations!
I noticed that smell once or twice myself. I think I might have called it in once.
Mick
use it wisely mick. after a while it will get watered down and people won't believe you anymore.
or they start worshiping me.
"start"?
yeah erok you're a pittsburgh bike icon whether you like it or not.
Erok, I thought you said you called 911. It's funny because I called 311 about the smell and within days there were trucks out there with new pipes. I thought that was exceedingly fast response time for 311. After Erok told me he called 911 around the same time it all made sense.
