Possibly a truly seminal riding experience.

"(NO FORK unless you use the "buy it now" option)"
What is the guy going to do with a red steel fork?

I still don't get any of it, but I don't know near the amount of cyclists as you folks do. I am just a commuter.

gg: it's about word substitution. Think "another name for Richard" and "seminal".

@gg, it also helps to remember that people who bicycle a lot basically are mentally still stuck in high school, or maybe middle school.

jon, maybe I am in elementary school. :) I was curious who this person was to have such a collection on interesting stuff. From a Sachs bike, that can't be purchase new unless you are a pro on the Sachs team to a Defender 90, which is a vehicle you can't buy here anymore and are very rare. Sounds like an interesting person to say the least.

Was my bike. Sold for $4500 for reference. Supply (almost none, 1-2 used team bikes per year that go for $7k+ in similar sizing, closed wait list unless a teacher or military) vs. demand (limited but not zero). This is the fourth one that I have sold over the years.
As for the Defenders...same story, especially for the 93 110s and the 94, 95, and 97 90s that were North American Spec.
The fork comment in the listing was an error from a prior template where the frame was for sale with a matching fork of the buyer used the buy it now price...aka, no low offers accepted unless you want to source your own fork.
