Hit by Biker on Three Rivers Trail
Hello,
I was hit around 5:10 pm Friday evening going up the hill west towards the Carnegie Science Center by the bend in North Shore Drive (basically right by that statue) by a cyclist on the wrong side of the path around the blind corner (I was also cycling). He broke my collar bone and gave me a concussion and left the scene. Some very nice people helped me and called an ambulance, but didn't see the accident. He was definitely bleeding and from my hazy memory (re:concussion - I ended up passing out) was a white guy with glasses in maybe his 40's or 50's. The police don't really seem to care since it didn't involve a vehicle (I did file a report today), but this is somebody that is dangerous. If anyone has any information, please let me know.

A pedantic point that could be made to the police: bicycles are vehicles, under the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code. See section 102, Definitions.

I did tell them that, but they don't seem to care because it happened on the bike path. The detective did call the science center for me, but they don't have any useful footage apparently.
