good question. the ss trail was also saltier than a salty texan. i think the rational may be, salt it once heavy and hope it lasts. who knows. tomorrows rains should melt most of the salt down anyway.

I didn't ride across it this morning, but this afternoon it was (mostly) clear and heavily (I mean heavily) salted. The ramps on both ends were still covered with crystals.
