hostels are a wonderful thing, but i already feel kinda terrible for innocent travelers that end up bunking above the beehive. how annoying that will be for them.

That's very cool. I was also intrigued by the hostel running in Larry-ville. I wonder if that will catch on, and if the city will catch on. I recall recently reading an article about NYC clamping down on similar arrangements (such as via Air BnB)...here's hoping PGH can be a bit more flexible.
