one of the best views of town...and can only be seen outside of a car
Hot Metal Bridge
Thanks for posting this! And yes, the view from the HMB is lovely. I've stood there just gaping for an inordinately long time.
Pretty cool. I've been on the Capilano Suspension Bridge as well.
The HMB belvederes were the result of input gathered from a public meeting held for the project. It is also the only reason why I know what a belvedere is. Say it 5 times real fast like an incantation.
Glad to see HMB getting some love. I must stop, take a pic and txt it to friends 2-3 times a year. It's a great view, and you can get some awesome shots of ice flowing, flooding or droughts.
I can see the HMB from my desk at work.
Just one of the reasons I work here.
I took one of my favorite pictures of the city from there last summer:
The Hot Metal Bridge affords my favorite view over Pittsburgh.
I'm a bit surprised neither the Kakum National Park Canopy Walk nor the London Millennium Bridge were on the list.
I agree with the above comments. I also love to take pictures from this bridge several times a year. People don't know what they are missing out on if they have never Been on that bridge by foot or on two wheels.
agreed, love the bridge!
