My 14 yr old son and a bunch of his friends have become Remi Guillard fans, and have started staging absurd Guillard type things. They formed an absurdist indoor soccer team that involves mismatched tube socks, sweat bands, on-field meditation, and rainbows, and they play other "real" teams Harlem Globetrotter style. Sometimes they win. The opposing teams end up having as much fun as they are. They're the only indoor soccer team that has a cheering section from the school. I couldn't be happier.
I know how I'm spending MY days off from now on.

What would you do if you were out for a Sunday ride and you were suddenly accosted by hundreds of screaming fans, a support car, and even a male streaker? If you're anything like me, you'd pedal like heck to escape these lunatics. Not so in France - where prankster Remi Guillard has been surprising Sunday cyclists with their very own 'tour' victory celebrations - and from the looks of the video that's been making the usual viral rounds, folks seem to generally take it in good humor.
@edmonds - Proof you are doing something right as a parent. Well done.
That man (and edmonds' son) is saving the world.
@edmonds59, I completely agree with AtLeastMyKidsLoveMe. That's awesome.
Awesome. This is the kind of thing that makes the world a better place. (both Guillard and edmonds59's kid)
This is so much better than when Jackass came out and kids were jumping off of buildings and crashing shopping carts (not that i would have anything to do with that).
