it's more of a general biking in pittsburgh story.
they will probably mention all the crap, but they want to use it as a bit of an educational piece for cyclists and motorists....i hope.
I saw them outside the Bike Pittsburgh office at about 1:30 today, there was a bicycle cop there with them and they taped me as I rode up Penn Ave. I thought maybe they were interviewing some of the folks at the office about the increasing number of cyclist-motorist accidents or something. Anyone know whats up?

cool, know when it will be on? today i'm guessing?
This thread gave me a quick image of Scott being dragged out of the Bike-pgh offices, with media hovering around, hauled off to jail atop the handlebars of the cop's bike.
They covered the assaults on cyclists on The X morning show today, with a brief audio clip from Ference. Then, after a few comments questioning cyclists choice in clothing juxtaposed with yesterday's celebration of the "bronze" bike-frinedly status.
They probably picked out the three or four people in spandex and ignored all the people in normal every day clothing.
Sure, mock cyclists' choices in clothing but heaven forfend you question motorists' choices in practical transportation. Bright orange H3? Check. Driver wearing a baby blue ice hockey jersey to work all day? Yup.
That's tens of thousands of dollars of ludicrous, stacked up against some cyclist's $70 Cofidis jersey.
Hey, my spandex is functional!
you mean all those people aren't pro hockey players?
And don't even get me started on cowboy hats.
I get too hot when I wear a hockey jersey and cowboy hat while biking.
Cowboy hats at least have a practical purpose of keeping the sun off your face.
