"Just Plain Bikes" - new bikeshop in Larryville?
I was driving down around 55th and butler today and spotted a sign that said "Just Plain Bikes - Coming Soon" on a vacant storefront. Anyone know anything?

Rode past there Tuesday evening on Team Decaf ride. There was a dude in the doorway wrenching on something - a wheel I guess.

I think "soon" is a relative term here. My friend acquired the space about six months ago. His intentions were to open up a repair/custom build bike shop, not retail. The space is now equipped with tools, stands and an assortment of frames and wheels. I'm still waiting. He's still wavering on when he might actually open. We'll see.

It's around 1000 sq ft, nice space. It'd be great if a bike shop did open there.
