Active Allegheny, the County's plan for human powered transportation, has been released in draft form. It has already benefitted from input from very many of you. As a member of the project steering committee, I have stolen ideas and suggestions from this board on many occasions, so as you look through the document, you may see some great ideas moving forward - ideas that were generated by YOU.

The Plan is downloadable in its entirety (which will be a slow download for those with lower internet connection speeds since it is a large file), OR in sections for faster and easier downloading (e.g., Chapter 1, Chapter 2, etc.). Please feel free to distribute the link above to your respective home organizations.

DEADLINE: We would like comments, revisions or questions directed to rdelvecchio@mbakercorp.com or Lynn Heckman at Lynn.Heckman@AlleghenyCounty.US by November 5, 2010, so that we can begin finalizing and production of the Plan.
