Let's get bike snob to come to Pittsburgh
Bike snob is releasing a new book, and the last time he released a book he went on a signing/bike riding/etc tour across the USA. I saw him in san francisco and it was pretty excellent! Now he's releasing another book and doing another tour. Apparently his publisher is deciding where to send him based on the comments received on this blog post, announcing the new book:

It would be pretty sweet to get him to come to pittsburgh, so maybe we should all write in lots of requests for pittsburgh to be a stop?

Have him come via Amtrak. I'm sure he'd love to take his bike apart and put it in a box to get here.

Maybe, though I'd guess he's doing his tour in May or so, not August. I'd suggest that the bikepgh guys get in touch with chronicle directly for that.
