They are planning a road diet on Liberty thru the Strip as well. reducing the number of lanes, adding turning lanes, etc. Not sure when that is supposed to start

Liberty Ave. -- Lawrenceville and Strip District.
Yesterday, I noticed the speed limit on Liberty Ave. at least from Main St./Bloomfield Bridge. to 26th St. was reduced from 35 MPH to 25 MPH. 25 MPH speed limit signs were installed on Liberty Ave. From Baum Blvd. to Main St. last year after years without any speed limit signs at all. West of Main St., the signs were still posted 35 MPH. I also noticed a crosshatch pattern painted in the intersection of Liberty Ave. and 29th St. which is visible in this video I got today.
