Lost Dog
Just passing on an email I just received:
"This may seem like a weird request, but my friends lost their dog the other day and I was hoping to enlist the community of PGH Bike commuters for their help in keeping their eyes open for him. I didn’t know if you would be willing to post something on your blog or message board, but since bikers are more likely to notice a dog on a daily commute than someone driving in a car, I thought it was worth a shot.
Attached is a flyer about the dog. His name is Zeus and he has been missing since 1/05/10. He was last seen on 1/10/10 behind the intersection of Bennett and Frankstown Ave. in Homewood/Penn Hills. He is a really sweet dog, and the owners, who are very active in the Pgh. bike scene, are really upset and worried about him.
I would really appreciate it if you could help."
Here's a link to the flyer

If you see him please call Jason at 412.576.7833
He is easily approachable and will respond to "Zeus are you hungry?" or "Zeus! Treat!"
Huh. That's funny. I do too.
Wow! Great that the dog was sighted as recently s January 10th. Can't help but wonder why it is still at large if it is so approachable, and has been seen so recently....
Anyway, I don't live in the area, but have spreard the word to a handful of dog owners I know who do.
Best of luck in reining in Zeus!
Zeus was found and is at home safe and sound.
AWESOME! Great news.
Yay doggy!
