I'm writing a story about the opening of the Riverton Bridge as a bike/pedestrian bridge and was wondering if anyone could comment on what it's like to try to traverse the river using the McKeesport-Duquesne Bridge, given that the new Riverton Bridge will provide a presumably safer alternative. I did not know this was opening so soon. Very neat. I've never ridden 'cross the McKeesport-Duquesne Bridge, it never looked particularly safe/sensible/enjoyable when Ive been riding around there.
I'll definitely head there to see this bridge though
