Could someone remove the pannier when the bike was parked?
I've lost a pannier while moving - it wasn't something I would fail to notice.

Missing Pannier
I am curious if anyone found a pannier on the north shore trail on Thursday or Friday. I went to bike in today and couldn't find my pannier, then got to thinking and didn't remember seeing it over the weekend. I have searched my house for it and the only conclusion i can come to it that it must have fallen off my bike somewhere between the bike commuter parking at the theatre square garage and my home in Brighton Heights.
It is a black Banjo Brothers Pannier and should have some bike tools and a ulock in it.

I have lost one while moving before as well and have always noticed it, but being bundled up and stuff i know i can't hear things as well, etc.
The more i try to replay my steps, the more i think that after getting to my bike Thursday afternoon and putting lights on, unlocking, etc. That I may have just been distracted and forgot to put the pannier on my bike. So it may have sat at the bike parking there until someone stole/took/secured it. I didn't see it on my ride in today, but it has been 5 days.

I had an empty bag fall off once on the way to food shop - there is a little velcro thingie that I had forgotten to use and I never heard it come off. Luckily by retracing my route I found it about a mile from the store. I really hate losing stuff & hope it shows up. Did you have contact info inside the bag? I try to keep a business card in with my tools.

I dont really remember if I did or not, Odds are I did not as I had just cleaned it out a week or so before.

You might want to check with nearby businesses. A guy I work with lost his work ID on a walk downtown, and someone turned it in to the closest business (which is about a mile from our office). It took a day or so, but they tracked him down.
