Count me and several of my staff in..... I can probably manage to get two morning shifts and three afternoon shifts completed.

Also, I've prepared materials documenting "how to count" for the temp services we've used for previous counts. I am happy to make that training material available to you for this effort.

To potential counters - It is really easy. All it takes is a convenient location with decent sight lines, a place to sit, and a pad of paper and a pen. You can listen to music, or just people watch while you are doing it. It's actually kind of fun, assuming the weather cooperates!

I'm in for somewhere fun September 17th, provided it doesn't interfere with my PARKing Day activities (ride). It'll be a very bicyclicious day.

I should be able to help, given my semi-flexible grad student schedule, not to mention being in Oakland for classes.

I can count. I'm in the southside, are there any key intersections over my way?

@bikelove (and others): We have priority count locations throughout downtown, the east end, Oakland and the South Side. We also would like to monitor other "portals" into the downtown area from the south, west and north and east. We can find a location close to just about anyone.

I could probably do it right from my desk here, which has a view on to Ellsworth. Or wherever else is needed.
