have you tried the bolt on frame pump clamp? there's usually a bunch of them at free ride. they're sort of like the clamp-on housing stop/router that you see on older steel bikes

need frame pump attachment ideas
I've got a frame pump sized to go along the top bar but my bike does not have the little pin on the head tube to help keep it from popping out when it gets jarred. Straps will keep it from flying into the street when it comes loose, but don't keep it from bouncing out. The pump is too long to fit vertically along the seat tube and sticks out of my bag. Does anyone have any ideas how to make this work or do I need to buy a shorter pump? A hose clamp in the head tube with a machine screw sticking through it is the best I have come up with so far.

I've used a zip tie around the head tube before as a cheap pin. Worked OK, certainly better than nothing.

This guy just duct tapes it to his 6000 dollar frame. And yes,those are world champion stripes on his collar and wrists.
