I found KHS Urban Express commuter bike on Craigslist
520 double butted Chromoly XL Frame
700 x 35C tires to smooth out the pot holes

Had one of these for a couple years, it was a good bike. Has all the stuff you need in a commuter bike. Mounts for everything, good tire clearance. Upright positioning. Was able to ride to DC on it with racks and panniers mounted.

I really like the bike and going from a road bike in which i had to really watch how i rode and what to avoid. with this bike i was jumping curbs & pot holes , grass , gravel , really a fun bike to ride ,
just need bar ends and some lights , nice to have either bike ready to roll.
