No, the parking protected bike lane on E Ohio is not a door zone bike lane. There's clearly a striped buffer that easily allows passenger side doors to open while cyclists safely pass.
As for Cedar, it's a climbing lane that absolutely helps separate cyclists from much faster moving car traffic and an improvement over the wide swath of pavement the street was before. Assuming this gets extended down to the Elks and Giant Eagle with proper intersection treatment at E Ohio, it will be helpful to connect people from those amenities to the park. Some on this board love to fall on the sword of close passes and angry honking drivers while valiantly taking the lane. That's fine, but please don't assume you speak for the rest of us. While obviously an imperfect solution, the work on Cedar is greatly appreciated.
