Hmmm...I think the DIY wiring and lighting harness on my rando bike is pretty choice...includes automotive connectors, electrical tape, zip ties, spiral cable-wrap, velcro ties, and hand-twisted 20 gauge red/black paired wires. Oh, yeah, and silicon seal.
(The electrical tape was merely because I used a scrap of chromoly steel tube for housing for the light, and didn't have time for a rattlecan job to dry, so I wrapped the whole thing in tape. Not _quite_ as durable as powdercoat, but what the hey...)
