http://openstreetspgh.org/
OpenStreetsPGH is a large, free public event that opens over 3 miles of streets to people of all ages and abilities. It offers the chance to walk, run, bike, dance, socialize and play in the streets for a morning or afternoon. More importantly, it gets people outside and active, connecting people to neighborhoods and local businesses, children with physical activity, and neighbors with one another.
OpenStreetsPGH aims to connect neighborhoods and allow people to reimagine their streets as places for people, not just cars. The schedule is:
Dates: Sundays, May 29, June 26, July 31
Times: 9 AM – 1PM
May 29th and June 26th Route: 3.5 miles from Market Square to Allegheny Cemetery along Penn Avenue and Butler Street (Downtown, Strip District and Lawrenceville)
July 31st Route: 3 miles from Market Square to Main Street the West End (Downtown, Northside, West End)
