Seems like a dragon or lion getup you could wear while biking would be quite something.

Steel Dragon Kung Fu is where my husband (and sometimes me too) takes kung fu, we've got somewhere around 20 performances over the next month or so. Lion Dance is a traditional way to start the new year, and we've got a pretty cool chang where the Lion does a stacked bunny hop for the year.

There are I think one or two other groups that do some form of Lion Dance in the area, we're the only ones that perform traditional changs (southern style). We also do dragon dance (we did the dragon at First Night this year). The wikipedia page used to have more information on the puzzles the lion solves, but it appears to have been edited to remove information.

Just a warning - they like to move around the performance times at the last minute. It's an awesome festival, all kinds of dancing and performance (and of course the lion dance). I've never seen any of the movies, though.

And for those who may be interested, Steel Dragon Kung Fu is having an open house and martial arts demonstration on Friday (Lantern Festival - yay!), starting at 5PM. Kung Fu demonstration begins at 6:30PM with a lion dance by the "cub" team (kids lion dance team), followed by a special year of the rabbit chang by the pro team, then Nego Gato will do a capoeira angola demonstration, then a mess of kung fu style demos.

It's in the studio at the Ice House on 43rd in Lawrenceville (near the river). All are welcome.
