Hi all, it's time once again for the annual PARK(ing) day ride - next Friday, Sept. 16.
If you're not familiar with PARK(ing) day, it is "an annual, one-day, international event in which artists, designers, activists and citizens collaborate to temporarily transform parking spots into “PARK(ing)” spaces." - which are basically small parks. Riding to the spots is the best way to see them all, and it has become something of an annual tradition. This will be a slow-paced, fun ride - all riders are welcome and we will all stay together.

For this year, I propose we start downtown at 10am and work our way out to the neighborhoods, since the bulk of the spots seem to be downtown and we didn't have enough time to get to them all last year. I'll let you know when I have the route - I've talked to the organizers and they said they might be able to get me the list a bit early. Hope to see you all there!
