While you're at it you can also comment on transportation http://richfitzgerald.com/agenda/transit/
Please send comments to the health department
Now's our time to weigh in on the future direction of the Allegheny County Health Department. In the past there was no real focus on prevention, active transportation, and safe routes to school. Effective in 90 days, Dr. Dixon will be leaving ACHD and a new director will take over, hopefully concentrating on things like the public health crisis around childhood obesity and our poor air quality. Getting a new director in who can focus on starting a Safe Routes to School Program, Smart Trips program, Open Streets series, and advocate for more walkable/bikeable communities would be great for the future of a bike-friendly Pittsburgh and beyond. Please take a few moments and send some encouraging comments: http://richfitzgerald.com/agenda/health-department/
done and done. put in a plug for ferries and air quality in transit corridors too.
Awesome. Thanks!

who do i talk to to get a tunnel under the river
below the 40th street bridge?
you don't like 40th street bridge? It's one of my favorites... I like all the little state emblems on the rails, very pretty and interesting. And the millvale trail is at the one end, and Lawrenceville is at the other, two very awesome places. I really think it is my favorite bridge, and I love bridges.
im just being a jerk.
oh. I thought I missed something. Oh, NSC jab. I'm slow.

Top. Keep the comments coming. Wellness & Prevention are very important to BikePGH. The more people commenting, the more chance that the capacity may increase for these types of programs at the Health Department.
