In short: they do get plowed, but haven't been.
Hi. Does anyone know if the bike trails within the city like the eliza furnace trail or the waterfront trail get plowed? I was wanting to do some safe biking on the trails next wednesday and avoid the roads. I read some previous posts where it was mentioned but it was from a week ago. Just wondering if they were able to make much progress since then. Thanks

Just for information's sake.... I'm in Columbus today, and noticed that the City has plowed the bike trails along the Olentangy River---was told that the Columbus mayor's been getting some flack about his bike initiative (in that it was all talk and no muscle) and that may have been why they got out there. Anyway, sounded like a Bobcat-like machine with a plow blade went out and did it.
