Power Meters

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/limits-the-world-s-smartest-cycling-power-meter - pretty cheap, slightly increases your QR, I've ordered just to try.

I think I'd use a similar width spacer on the opposite pedal to even things up. I'm not really sure why, but it seems like the thing to do. Let us know how well it works. More data = more better

Asymmetry is an invitation to injury. If I felt like spending the money on one I might double up to have that in lieu of another spacer and to see if I am delivering power similarly from both legs. Very possibly not, I'm very, very right handed. More data = more better.

@byogman, for you then, you'll need these: http://www.competitivecyclist.com/garmin-vector-s-powermeter-pedals?s=a To me, power meters are a nice tool if you like to race and/or you have high performance goals. Otherwise, as BikeSnob put it,
buying a power meter to train is like hiring an accountant to tell you how broke you are.

Dude that looks like 15mm or so of q factor change on ONE side?!?!?!

Changes are on both sides. The early version has one real thing and one stub. Next year version would have two meters. So, it's a double change for at least 20mm total.
