Friend of a friend, neither of whom is on the message board, asked me for suggestions on how to bike from along Prospect Rd to C3 Mall. I can barely picture the area, I'm out there so infrequently, but I know there are a bunch of people here who live south.

Delwar Road is about the only direct route. I am down that way, but mostly in a car. Delwar has a small shoulder, but it doesn't look that good. People drive pretty fast on most of those roads down there and you about never see a cyclist. I have ridden Streets and some of 885. That is about it. Hope there is better option than Delwar.

Streets Run to Delwar works pretty good except that it is a really steep hill with a lot of truck traffic. Of course all of the other routes like rt885 are just as crappy. Welcome to the South Hills.

@thetransitman is the friend I mentioned above. I know him to be a regular bicycle commuter, and like me, also uses the buses and racks frequently. Thanks for joining!

No, chances are good that yours got lost in the big website re-do a couple years ago. About 1/3 of the accounts got lost, including quite a few daily posters.
