Rolling road debris

I had a crazy experience this afternoon that I wanted to share. I was riding up Forbes Avenue eastbound between Bigelow Boulevard and Bellefield Street, and heard an odd rattling sound. I ignored it for a second but then noticed a hubcap rolling at around 15-20 mph to my left. At first I thought, "wow, that's crazy." Then I thought, "I might be able to survive riding over that, but I don't want to find out the hard way." So I let it overtake me as it continued in an arc over to the right, and it hit the wheel of a parked car. I felt a little bit like a fighter pilot evading an enemy missile. Anyway--in this season of potholes, there are also some more mobile obstacles to keep an eye out for.

I thought this was going to be about entire cars, lol.

I thought it might be about Saturday night drivers... I've seen a wheel rolling on the interstate at 60+ mph, headed to the oposite direction lane.

I was attacked by 2 rogue garbage cans the other day on millvale ave when it was very windy. I fended them off with a side kick and deflected the other off my front wheel. It was quite surprising.
