Shipping a bike to Pittsburgh

Can anyone recommend a shop near the beginning of the GAP that accepts bike shipments and possibly do the basic reassembly at a reasonable price? I don't mind reassembling myself, but would prefer it to be ready to go when I arrive, simply out of convenience. Thanks in advance

How about Golden Triangle bike Rental next to the trail? Or possibly Bicycle Heaven?

I think either Kindred Cycles http://www.kindredcycles.com or Thick Bikes http://www.thickbikes.com would be my picks. Both of these shops are within a mile or so from the point & they both do good work with very friendly and competent staff.

Thanks for the reccomendations. I emailed golden triangle other day and haven't heard back. I will call these others.

Yeah, Golden Triangle would be on my list too, but they are closed over the winter since they are mainly a rental outfit.

When I moved to Pittsburgh, I used REI. They disassembled, packaged, shipped, then re-assembled and setup my road bike. They did a nice job. Total cost was $140, including the shipping. I shipped to the REI in Southside Works (412 S 27th St Pittsburgh, PA 15203). This is just one block south of the GAP with easy access.
