Steel Valley Bicycle Tour Sat 4/26
Tomorrow, April 26 is the first Steel Valley Bicycle Tour!
It begins at the Homestead Pump House and goes to McKeesport on the Great Allegheny Passage. More adventurous riders may continue on the streets of the Clairton Connector bike route to the Montour Trail trailhead in Clairton. Round trip distances are 14 (all trail, asphalt) or 24 miles (trail + road, asphalt). Registration from 8-10am. Start after registering. Snacks provided.

Ah man, I wish I would check this forum more often. Saturday the 26th I did Greenfield>Corapolis via Neville Island>Montour trail>Pan Handle Trail>Carnegie>Noblestown back to downtown.
On the 27th I went the GAP>Steel Valley Trail to Clairton>Mountour Trail to South Park>Back home on Baptist/Brownsville Road.
I would like to start riding with others I guess. Family man in my 30s now and all my buddies are either drinking buddies which I barely go to the bar anymore. If I would of saw this earlier I would tried out a group ride. I been experimenting with more long distance weekend metro loops this year.
