Stolen Bike Alert!!
My boyfriends bike was stolen overnight/this morning from outside our apartment in Bloomfield. Cut the lock. I'm trying to upload a picture but the picture uploader won't work for me. Any help?? I posted it to a bike group on Facebook which I can pass the link if interested.
It's a black and yellow Specialized 29er that he just got maybe 2 months ago. It has some Pro Bikes stickers on it and a few others I can't remember but the lettering is green (you can see in the picture but again....). He just put lime green bar grips and hot pink bar ends on the bike.
He filed a police report and the officer he talked to from Zone 5 said that there have been about 5 or 6 other bike thefts recently in the area. So please, keep an eye out for anyone who may look out of place and keep an eye out for everybody!!
We also started contacting all the bike stores in the area just in case they try to sell it.

Had a friend who works at DJ's Butcher Block call and said he saw some dude ride it down the main drag (liberty) about last week.
So not sure if the guy is in bloomfield or there's someone/something that keeps him coming back. or it was just random.
I don't know. Just still trying just in case...couldn't hurt!

A friend of mine had a bike disappear from his porch in Bloomfield as well. I'm not sure if he filed a report. (it was not a particularly valuable bike to begin with.)

Within the past month. I didn't ask the exact time. He has better bikes that are put away safely so the one that disappeared didn't matter all that much.
