Now home, with a bag of ice on my wrist. I will not discuss specifics until I get the proper words said to the proper people in the proper way. Not going to be on my own bike, anyway, for a few days. Hoping enough healing occurs by Friday afternoon that I can go on the Susan Hicks ride.
Briefly, I got hit from behind on an otherwise empty four-lane road, with both blinkies on, just before 7 p.m. The driver stayed on the scene. That's all I will say right now.

If anybody got an accident on video, it would be Stu.
Glad you weren't hurt worse, Stu, and that the driver stayed there.

Nope, no video. Haven't had a rear camera since August 2015. The evidence, though, had I had it, would have been damning.

Stu is now going to ride with a Google Maps 360 degree camera to his helmet from now on.

I'm getting a 404 error on
www.google.com/trike.
Anyone else?
Meanwhile, I'm on the road to recovery, surveying bike damage, talking to police and insurance people.
But yeah, a 360° camera would be a fun thing to try for a while.

Their blog post says to visit
www.google.com/trike but it's linked to
maps.google.com/trike. The former is the correct link (or at least it doesn't get a 404; I'm not sure they're taking location suggestions anymore).

I am happy to report that the bike is ridable, and I am capable of riding it. No serious damage to either of us.
