YEAH DUDE!
(or "dudette" as the case might be.)
Hey Bike PGH, thank you for all your support over these last 15 months. It has been 15 months since I started bike commuting and I love it. I am saving $300 a month on parking plus what ever gas and maintenance would have been on my van that I drove 20 miles/day.
I look forward to my commute each way and every day. I never would have been able to start without the advice from this community. So thanks for helping me save a few bucks and do something good for the environment.

LOVE IT.

I want to second this. Today I rode to work for the first time when it was still pitch black outside. I never had the guts to do that before reading up on all of the great advice about lights, reflective gear, and good routes. Thanks to everyone in the group for your great insights!
Ahhhhhh LOVE!!!!!!
Gotta say, while I got lots of great advice from my co-workers when I started commuting to work back in 2009, the advice & friendships I've developed through BikePgh and this Message Board have really given me the confidence and continuous support to keep-on biking
My first post was back in January 16, 2010.
My first day of bike-commuting to work was July 6, 2009, and haven't stopped since
