The trailer at try-a-bike

Does anyone know which one it is? Lyle put it on marko's bike and I rode with it. It was pretty nice. I am looking to get a trailer soon. Any other suggestions are welcome, too. If I recall correctly, the downside of that trailer was that it might not work well with smaller frames (heel strike on point of attachment?). However, it was nice in that I didn't feel a difference on the flats or on a small hill with it.

@stef: I don't recall which one was at Try-a-Bike; however, I've got a single-wheeled trailer (the Gnashbar B.O.B. knockoff) that you're welcome to try out or borrow for a few days.

You may be referring to our Burley trailer. You're welcome to give it another try if you like (or a first try, as the case may be).

Yes I believe it's the Burley trailer that I had hooked up. I really like it much better than the trailer I have (roadgear) because of the hitch mechanism. My hitch uses a large spring to act as the joint to allow the two degrees of movement needed to turn and go over bumps, etc. The problem with the spring is that you feel the trailer tugging on you whenever you try to accelerate or go up hills. The Burley didn’t do this at all and except for the weight you didn’t feel it back there at all.

Incidentally has anyone ever tried the Surly trailers? That 300 lb capacity sure is enticing.
