Nice.
Keep an eye peeled for these to reappear on Craigslist or Ebay for $300. That's what happened to the last decent bike I spied at that store.
Thrift Store has a couple of good condition Schwinn's for sale
The Red White and Blue Thirft Store on Ohio River Boulevard (Route 65) in Avalon has a couple of Schwinns out front that look interesting (for what they are).
One, a womens (brown) World Tourist. Probably a size medium. Second, a mens (blue) Traveller. Again, probably a medium frame size. I did not do a standover on it, but it looked like I could. That would make the standover height somewhere in the 29-31 inch range, I'd guess.
Both are ten speeds, and in what appears to be next to new condition. Price for either is $49.95.
I tried to look at the downtube to get a size on them, and was surprised to see a "Schwinn ultralite..." sticker. So, these appear to NOT be the original 1970-1980's version of these models, but a new replica version.
Both road bikes appear to be in virtually unused condition.
I suspect these will go fast.
@Edmonds - I gave that a thought (as in doing it myself), but was on two wheels as I sped past there this a.m. and didn't want the hassle of having them hold them until I could retrieve them.
Bet they'll be gone when I roll past tonight!
