We went through there a few days ago looking for the beach-ball mural on Halkert.
Halkert south of Forbes is partially closed for construction. I'm wondering if that's why it's blinking.

Traffic Signal Alert, crossing Forbes at Halket in Oakland
Just a heads up...
Heads up to Oakland folk who walk or bike near Magee: the traffic light at Forbes & Halket is set to blinking for some reason. Drivers get a blinking yellow on Forbes -- in other words, they aren't stopping, and crossing at that intersection is dangerous. Sent my 311 email to the city. We'll see if they reset the light.
