As a contributor to the Butler-Freeport Trail, I got this in an email newsletter: From: Chris Ziegler Volunteers wanted: The North American Unicycling Convention and Championship (NAUCC) will be held in Butler County this year! It will run for a full week from Sunday, July 21st, through Saturday July 27th. There will be distance races, Mountain Unicycling, Track Racing, Freestyle (like figure skating), "X-treme" style competitions and much much more. We have about 200 competitors from the US and Canada (as well as a few other countries) attending and competing for the title of National Champ in their discipline. What we need locally, is volunteers. Specifically, for the 10K on Sunday (the race runs from 4pm - 6pm) and the Marathon on Tuesday (from 9am - 2pm). We need course marshals, timers, traffic control, etc. Please contact Lisa or Dave @ 724-283-3653 or send Lisa and e-mail @ dynt10@gmail.com. (e-mail's the preffered method at this point, as we are in and out often - busy taking care of all the NAUCC logistics.
