Volvo Reflective paint
You can buy the reflective paint Volvo launched a while ago that makes clothing reflective at night (it's invisible during the day). You can buy it from the startup that invented it here: https://albedo100us.com/product-info/
The textile version lasts 10 days, which is kind of disappointing. They also have a version for fur. But there's a permanent version for metal.

a can is expensive (about $20 for a 4.6 oz can and maybe about $13 for a 2.3 oz can) but unclear how many typical sprays per can (i.e., what the cost is per 10 uses). the website has nothing about it. no reviews either.

I read a review by bike-blogger TinLizzie (sorry, having trouble finding a link to her review). She was able to spray one shoe with a can and it ran out of spray before she could finish the other shoe.
