Meet at Friendship Park (Friendship Ave at S Millvale Ave) at 11:30pm Wednesday night, and leave at midnight for a leisurely night ride. Ends at Ritter's diner on Baum Blvd (cash only). Invite your friends! More below (click or tap here): -Lights REQUIRED. it will be dark, and we will need everyone to be visible. -helmet strongly suggested -keep in the proper lane. This will usually be the right, but I'll give a yell if we need to switch. -stop at red lights and stop signs -if it's safe to let cars pass, please do. -if it's not safe, don't even let them try -THIS IS A SLOW RIDE WITH NO DROPS. if you're wondering if it's too slow for you, it is. -on the other hand, if you're wondering if you're too slow for the ride, you're not, and please join us! As stated above, the ride is no drops. We will regroup after any hills or red lights in order to make sure we don't lose anyone. https://www.facebook.com/events/1601468520119121/

I have a slightly better than zero chance of making this one, even if I do end up taking a nap under my desk at the office.

I wish this was on Thursday night, as I have Friday off for the 4th of July weekend. But I suspect people will be traveling on Thursday night, hence the Wednesday date. Oh well...

@chrishent -- The moonlight ride schedule is entirely dependent on @Erica's, as I recall, and this year it's Thursday she has off. (also, though the text just says "Wednesday", the headline and the linked event both say 7/15--two weeks from this Wednesday.)

Hey! While this is dependent on my schedule, it's not really as simple as having Thursday off. I like to have this ride earlier in the week, so that we can experience parts of town while they're emptied and less crowded (for instance, e Carson St is a different world on a monday night, compared to a friday). However, I can't do the ride on Mondays anymore, because Ritters closes on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights now. They open 24 hours again on wednesday, so Wednesday it is! Why ritters? It's a central location that's easy to get to and from. I tried ending as eat n Park in squirrel Hill a few times, only to feel like the ride was long and dragging, and that the ride home was it's own separate journey, rather than a quick jaunt up the road. So really, the answer is "because I said so" :p

IIRC, I've made this objection before, but July 15th is a new moon. There will be no moonlight on this ride.

I think we lost someone. It's a long shot, but if you're Mike, and we lost you before the bridge, we're at carson & s 27th
