What kind of shoes were you wearing?
were you biking down butler on 9/20?
Some guy rode past me yesterday near the bowling alley and said something like "sweet asics!" to me and i've been puzzling over this all night. i wasn't wearing asics, what could you have meant? this is why i never say more than 'hi' to other cyclists. anything more than that gets the unintelligible doppler effect. i know this isn't an important thing to post really, but it's bugging me. mystery cyclist, what were you saying?!
I rode down butler to Penn into downtown, and I did see a female cyclist ( who ran 4 lights), but I did not remark upon any footwear. and its a bit tricky to hold a convo when the iPod is cranked to 11.
Wasn't me but since it was asked I am somehow really curious about the shoes.
Maybe it wasn't the shoes he was interested in....
Nice asics or nice a _ _?
they're just black sneakers. i think if he had said 'nice ass' i would have said 'why, thank you! i made it myself!'. i'm wondering if maybe he said 'nice Jamis'? maybe i should start hollering sentences at people that are in motion. really add some mystery to their day.
@pbeaver, you will never see me run a red light. almost never. but never ever on butler, people be bloodthirsty!
@ms Parvpica: I would hope not. Actually it was rather humorous, the lady I was traveling in the same direction of (as I was not following) would run lights, and then I would retake her wheel within the next block. Power Thighs ftw I guess.
Although the lady I saw was rather cute on her green bike. ;P
@Salty: Ahh yes, CL missed connections, the raison de'tre of the shy and obscurely attracted.
re: CL, "Golden Corral waitress..." REALLY?
Damn, it must be rough out there.
you have no idea.
