But they're sensationalist and out of date WRT U-locks. They mention the Bic Pen hack, which hasn't worked for years with Kryptonite locks. It's not helpful to the public to lump U-locks (which really do provide good protection to everyone but a well-equipped thief) with cable locks (which don't protect against any thief with a few seconds and a tool that will fit in his pocket).
