I was all ready to say yes then I saw the ticket price. Cheapest @ $50? DAMN. No thanks, sorry Willie...
Willie Nelson, Meadowlands, Saturday, August 14
Hey anyone want to ride out there?
http://www.willienelson.com/event/all/august_14_2010-9
7 pm start.
$50 ?
Hmmmm....
I wonder how big the venue is?
If it is arena-sized? That's a lot for a ticket.
It is is club-like? Well worth the money.
Probably something in between...
I paid 75 bucks to see willie nelson here (http://www.palacetheaterct.org/) a few years ago. I was right in the center about ten rows back and it was amazing. After the show he even sat on the end of the stage and signed autographs.
my first concert ever was willie. he did the same thing, sat on the stage and signed autographs. what a gangsta.
I'll likely shell out for a ticket. If I don't get a posse to ride back with, I'll probably also shell out for a motel room.
$50? damn, willie must either be catching up on taxes still or smoking some REALLY good shit. i would love to see him live, but that's just too damn much money.
I looked at some Burgettestown "First Niagra tickets"
Tom Petty, Iron Maiden, Stone Temple Pilots or Brooks and Dunn . All of them at least OK artists.
None anywhere near the staure of Willie, though.
The venue? "First Niagra"? At it's very finest, it sucks bigtime.
The cheapest you can get off the lawn for any of these acts is $65.
Flaming Lips tickets are at least $33.
If it is a half-decent venue, then $50 is well worth it for Wille.
Of course, if it a venue simlar to "First Niagra?" $50 would be too much for God with Jesus, Mohammed, and Paul MacCartney singing harmonies.
Can those first three guys even sing?
