BIKE POOL: FIND A COMMUTING PARTNER

You heard of carpooling and vanpooling, right? Bike Pittsburgh and the SPC CommuteInfo program are working together to help regional commuters who want to get to their jobs or school by bike, find bike partners with whom to share the ride – forming BikePools. Be one of the first to sign up to participate in the regionÍs first “BikePooling” initiative! Signing up is quick and easy and does not cost you anything. In return you will get a personalized report listing other people interested in biking to work/school. If you want to be listed as a BikePool Leader just mention that in the “Other Comments” section. Sign up today!

BIKE PITTSBURGH ENTERS THE BLOGOSPHERE

As you might have noticed, our website needs some serious love. We are having it redesigned, but in the meantime Bike Pittsburgh has started two new blogs to communicate with the public. Check them out!

MAPHUB: HIT HUB COLLECTION BOXES

We’ve partnered with MapHub once again – This time to put collection boxes in various locations throughout the city to collect data on bike accidents. Go to MapHub for a full list of collection box locations. NOTE: The box at 61c is mysteriously missing. We will replace it soon, although it might be at a different location. Stay tuned!
