Councilman Peduto pledges City resources for biking and walking

Yesterday the Guyasuta Fellows, who studied transportation issues in and around Pittsburgh, presented their findings to City Council. Afterwards, Councilman Peduto stated that he will try his best to devote more City resources for bicycling and walking improvements! This is a huge win for bicyclists and walkers. Please do your part and take a moment to write Councilman Peduto to thank him for his effort to make Pittsburgh better for biking and walking!

    Thanks for the suggestion. We’ve talked about doing exactly that, but we haven’t figured out how to do it. In the future we will have sample letters to sign and send electronically – we just need someone to sit down with us and show us how to create those forms.

    Be sure to thank him for the Traffic Light Camera idea too. That’s great! They’ll be sure to make motorists think twice before running a red light and endangering people’s lives.
