14-year-old hit by car on bridge

A 14-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle on the Homestead Grays Bridge early this afternoon. City dispatchers said that the accident occurred on the city side of the bridge. The bridge has been closed. The girl was taken to Mercy Hospital. Information on her condition was not available. Pittsburgh police are investigating.
