This story appeared on the 5 o’clock news on Channel 4 on Monday, October 22nd. I think they did a great job, but I just want to go on the record and say that in no way was I taking credit for Bike Pittsburgh for building the Hot Metal Bike/Ped Bridge. The reporter had just asked me what biking improvements were happening in Pittsburgh so I was just rattling them off. And, to give a few more specifics regarding the Bike/Ped Coordinator, you really have the City of Pittsburgh and Richard King Mellon Foundation to thank for that.
