I’m into the “conservative cyclists” article. It would be interesting to go back in history and look at how the politicization of bicycles has changed. Ooo.. this would be a fun research project..
Anyway, trying to break down the stereotype that all cyclists are liberals is a good idea to keep in mind, especially if de-politicization gets more people on two wheels. I’m definitely guilty of saying “Oh my god! [Insert name of very right-leaning person] rides a BIKE?!”
