Senator Specter Co-sponsors Two Critical Pieces of Bicycle Legislation

Senator Arlen Specter (R-PA) is showing tremendous leadership by co-sponsoring of both The Complete Streets Act of 2009 (S. 584), and the Clean Low-Emission, Affordable New Transportation Act (CLEAN-TEA) (S. 575).

Pennsylvania will benefit from these two bills through congestion reduction, safer streets for all users, more energy efficient transportation infrastructure and greenhouse gas emission reduction.

BikePGH applauds Senator Specter for co-sponsoring these two critical pieces of legislation.
