We are partnering with the blog, onlyinpgh for a  photo contest: Bikin’ in the Burgh!  What a better time than BikeFest to join forces with one of our favorite local blogs.

Onlyinpgh is a resource dedicated to showcasing the unique places, sights and local flavor our city has to offer.  From the corner store with great pierogies to the grandeur of the inclines, Pittsburgh is full of unique sights, smells, stores, tastes and people, and our goal is to present them in all their glory.  In essence, yinz know it when yinz see it.

The Details

It’s simple–all submissions must be Pittsburgh AND bike-themed.  Your bike must be in the photo, you must have biked to wherever you took the picture,etc., but don’t forget the Pittsburgh connection!  Submissions will be open from TODAY (Aug 2nd) until the end of BikeFest, BikePGH’s week-long celebration of bicycling, on August 15th.  Entries will be posted as they come in, and when the witching hour arrives, BikePGH and onlyinpgh will pick the top 5 submissions and it’ll be up to YOU to decide the winner!

The Goods

And what will the winner receive?  A BikePGH prize package that includes a 1-year BikePGH membership (or renewal), a Pittsburgh Bike Map, a BikePGH water bottle AND a T-shirt (you can check out the goods here)!

To Submit

Send your photo submissions to submit@onlyinpgh.com.  Include your name, specific location the photo was taken and a caption explaining the Bikin’ in the Burgh connection.   One entry per person!
