Join us tomorrow, Wednesday, November 10 at 7pm at the Bike Pittsburgh headquarters for Pittsburgh’s First Streetfilms Viewing.
We’ll be showing a variety of some of the best Streetfilms from around the world. Streetfilms is an organization well known for “Documenting Livable Streets Worldwide”. They have made dozens and dozens of movies on bikes, as well as public space, cities, citizens making important changes in their cities, and educational films too.
We’ll start with about 30 minutes of films and then Clarence Eckerson (who made most of the films) will talk for a bit. We’ll open up for questions and discussion and see where we want to take it from there.
This will be completely informal, totally inspirational, and incredibly fun. In fact, if you have an extra portable chair, stool, or pillow to bring, do that.
Also, don’t miss our free breakfast Wednesday morning for Bike Pittsburgh members from 7-10am.
Not a member of BikePGH? Join today! Remember it’s Bike Pittsburgh, your friendly local bike advocacy group, bringing the internationally known livable streets filmmakers to Pittsburgh.
